Overview
The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board has recruited for 11,749 Constable posts in West Bengal Police (revised 12.08.2026: 8,212 male, 3,537 female).
Candidates who had passed Madhyamik and could speak, read and write Bengali were eligible. Selection was through a written examination (85 marks), physical measurement and efficiency tests, and an interview (15 marks); the merit list is based on written and interview marks together.
The final merit list was published on 24 September 2026. Results can be checked on prb.wb.gov.in with your Application Serial Number and Date of Birth.
