National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) — paid training for graduates and diploma holders
Government of India (Ministry of Education)
Overview
Under this Ministry of Education scheme, graduates, diploma holders and technically qualified youth get practical training in industry.
A monthly stipend is paid during training, and the government reimburses 50% of it to the employer. Trainees gain real industry experience and a certificate recognised across industries — improving the employability of technical students.
Fresh (not previously employed or trained under the scheme) Indian graduates and diploma holders can register and apply on the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in).
